Founded in 2012, Back Country Home Inspection was born out of a desire to give homebuyers secure, peace of mind, when making a substantial home purchase. Certified lead inspector, Chris Goione, has been involved in the construction of residential housing for more than two decades. Beginning in the electrical trade, where he achieved the level of Licensed Electrical Contractor in the state of New Jersey, and later founding a successful NJ Construction company involved in the construction of more than 100 homes, and commercial structures.

Through its constant attention to detail, Back Country Home Inspection, is able to provide concise, thorough, property inspections with the knowledge, and experience, to determine where deficiencies may exist in a home. With so many years of knowledge to draw from, Back Country Home Inspection is able to help their clients understand the severity of the deficiencies they may find.

Back Country Home Inspection handles each inspection in a pleasant, personal, and professional manner. “It is our mission to make sure that every item in one of our extensive inspections is understood by our clients.” Lead Inspector Chris Goione says, “To that end, we are always available to discuss a deficiency we note, and what the potential ramifications may be if left unattended.” “I try to look at every home as though I were going to move my family there, and will take the extra time needed to be sure this purchase was exactly what I was expecting.” Goione continues.

Lead Inspector Chris Goione is a graduate of both the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) School, and the National Radon Proficiency Program as a Measurement Professional.

Back Country Home Inspection is a member in Good standing with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), and is fully insured with General Liability, and Errors and Omissions Insurance.
